Lockdown has left the kids aching to go outside and play. If you have a big enough yard, then perhaps you can arrange for them to play football within the property to keep them safe while having fun. Set up your goals on each end. Get football scoreboards as well to add to the realism.
They will surely get into the game a lot more when they see the scores for each side. Parents can stay in the middle while holding board and writing the score. They can also act as the referee as they have the best view of the makeshift field.
Make sure to get a scoreboard that is large and readable even from a distance. You could mimic the dimensions of the products that you see online using cardboard to test if this would be enough for your needs before buying a real one.
