Strength training is a key component in getting fit. Home strength training exercises are not only convenient, but they also save time and money that would otherwise be spent at the gym. Home strength training can be done with or without equipment. The following are three simple home strength training exercises to build muscle while you’re on your own time!
Pushups
This exercise will help improve chest, arm, and shoulder muscles. Start by kneeling on the ground with hands spread shoulder-width apart under shoulders. Keep back straight as if someone were pulling it back gently from behind until the head is about one inch off the ground. Slowly bend elbows to lower body down towards the floor until arms are fully extended (but do not lock them). Push the body back to the initial position using the chest and triceps from this position.
Burpee
Burpee is an exercise that will help improve muscles of the upper back, lower body, and also your cardiovascular system. Start by standing straight with feet just outside shoulder-width apart. Bend down on knees while keeping hands touching the ground between legs. Jump both feet to land slightly wider than shoulders, then jump up into the air bringing arms toward the head in a clap motion (jump as high as you can on first rep). Land softly into pushup position and do two more reps for a total of three pushups.
Reverse Lunges
This Home Strength Training Exercise works out hip flexors, hamstrings, and quadriceps muscles which are rarely worked out when one performs regular exercises using machines or free weights at gyms. Stand straight with right leg in front of left with feet just outside shoulder-width apart. Bend down on knees while keeping hands touching the ground between legs. Jump both feet to land slightly wider than shoulders, then jump up into the air bringing arms toward the head in a clap motion (jump as high as you can on first rep). Land softly into pushup position and do two more reps for a total of three pushups
To conclude, Home Strength Training provides excellent benefits for your body, but it is important to consider that it needs dedication.
