Homeschooling your children can be a great way to give them a personalized education, but finding college scholarships for homeschoolers can also be challenging. Many homeschooled students don’t have the same opportunities as their public and private counterparts regarding financial aid. However, there are many great scholarships available specifically for homeschoolers!
What should I know about this?
One option is the Home School Legal Defense Association’s (HSLDA) Member Scholarship Program, which provides up to $1,000 for members who are high school seniors. The HSLDA also offers a $500 scholarship for high school juniors and seniors who demonstrate excellence in community service.
The National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI) also offers two scholarships: the Academic Excellence Scholarship, worth up to $2,000, and the Performing Arts Scholarship, worth up to $1,000. Both require an essay and letters of recommendation from non-family members.
We hope this information has been useful to you.
