The cost of Padi Instructor Training PADI Instructors must follow a Code of Ethics. As such, PADI has rules in place to ensure that PADI instructors are always putting safety first and providing the best possible experience for their students. One of these rules is charging a maximum fee per student. This means you can’t charge more than $35 USD/student when teaching your recreational divers during an Open Water Scuba Diver course.
