One Of Florida’s Best Flea Markets

If you’re in north or central Florida and are looking for a bargain, the Waldo flea market is one of the best places to go. Since the late 1970s, thousands of bargain hunters have descended on the small rural community of Waldo, in search of odds and ends, old books, sporting collectibles, kitchen supplies, jewelry, tools and pets. The market covers around 50 acres, having been expanded from the original 40 acres in the early 1980s. There’s also a 20,000 square feet indoor antique mall, selling everything from furniture to glassware. There are several vendors selling food and drink too, including fast food and baked snacks. It’s estimated that more than 20,000 people visit the 900 or so vendors each weekend, making it one of the largest in the state. The market is open on Saturdays and Sundays from about 8am to 4pm.
