Dried botanics can consist of a lot of different things today in the twenty-first century. You can have fruits, whole or sectioned fungi, leaves, seeds, and almost anything else that is botanical and has a lot of air spaces in it.
To prepare these you’ll need to first remove the leaves from the flowers. From there you’ll want to group the flowers together and tie them in this fashion. Next, you’ll want to attach this to a stick so that you can hang them up to dry for three to four weeks. If you want to speed up the drying process another option is to microwave them with a cup of water in thirty-second intervals for up to two minutes depending upon how dense the flowers are.
Regardless of how you go about doing it, you’ll have something beautiful to enjoy for up to three years.
