Consistent practice is one of the best ways to learn golf basics. However, it’s important to start out with the correct stance and grip; once you get used to holding the club a certain way, it can be difficult to change it. Try to practice with several different clubs, although it’s not necessary to get used to a full set at first. Mastering the clubs in a half set is sufficient for anyone beginning the game. If you’re new to the game of golf, practising and playing with someone else can provide you with motivation and encouragement. Just as importantly, another person can point out any flaws in your game, allowing you to work on correcting them. Golf lessons don’t come cheap, but having just a few lessons can help you to master the basics of this challenging and enjoyable game.
