Introducing Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine originated in China. Unfortunately, a lot of people feel that it’s fueled by pseudoscience because there doesn’t appear to be any logical mechanism of action for the majority of its treatments. Nevertheless, this is still popular in China and many other countries throughout the world today.

There are a lot of people who use Chinese medicine either as a primary or complementary approach to their health issues even though its efficacy hasn’t been thoroughly investigated. The research that does currently exist suggests that there are a lot of herbal remedies that may be effective in treating conditions like constipation and fevers.

Practitioners of Chinese medicine view any health problems that arise from their treatments as resulting from an improper prescription. When the herbs are properly prescribed they won’t ever result in harmful side effects for those who are taking them.
