If you have three days in Paris and it’s your first visit, taking in the main sights is probably your goal. Must see sights include the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum, although the museum is so large, you’ll need to decide what to see ahead of time. Other not to be missed sights include Pere Lachaise cemetery, the ornate interior of the Opera House and the elegant shopping street, the Champs Elysees. One neighborhood that many first time visitors make for is Montmartre. Once the home of Picasso, Van Gogh and other artists, the area still retains its village-like and Bohemian atmosphere and also offers great views over Paris. Having a few days in Paris is also about experiences too, including shopping at one of the famous department stores, enjoying a sightseeing trip on the River Seine, and relaxing at a pavement cafĂ©.
