Padi Instructor Training is a PADI course for instructors. PADI provides certification as an Open Water Scuba Diver Trainer (OWST) to their instructors who have completed the appropriate OWST specialty diver course or have been qualified as an OWST by another organization.
Padi also has shorter courses, which are less intensive than the Instructor training. Suppose a prospective instructor has completed the appropriate OWST specialty diver course or has been qualified as an OWST by another organization. In that case, PADI can issue the certification.
Pedi and Padi are two different organizations that offer training to become scuba diving instructors. PADI is an acronym for Professional Association of Diving Instructors, which was founded in 1966. PEDI (Professional European Diving Instructors) is the PADI counterpart in Europe. Instructor training courses are offered worldwide and can be completed through a variety of means, including distance learning, classroom-based lessons, or on-location instruction with an accredited PADI Dive Centre
