Bees usually make honey from nectar, water and several other raw materials, but these two are the main ones. Since different types of plants usually produce different types of flowers and nectar, honey made by bees from one part of the world will differ greatly from honey made by bees from another part of the world. For instance, honey in arid and semi arid areas as well as desert oases will differ greatly from honey made by bees in a jungle. Mad honey, for instance, is made by special types of bees in Asia, particularly Nepal.
This type of honey has two main uses. The first is medicinal. When administered in small doses, this honey can have a healing effect on the human body and can promote good health. When used in smaller doses, this honey can have recreational benefits, which is the second use of this variety of honey.
