Wood pellet stove cleaning can seem like a daunting task, but it’s a breeze if you follow these three simple steps!
The first step is to remove the ash pan. This can be done by pulling it out of the stove and emptying the ashes into a metal bucket. Wear gloves when doing this, as the ashes will be hot.
The next step is to clean the glass door. You can do this by using a soft cloth and some soapy water. Be sure to dry it off completely before putting it back in place.
Finally, vacuum out the inside of the stove. This can be done with either a regular vacuum or a Shop-Vac with a wood stove attachment. Make sure to get all the nooks and crannies, as this is where the majority of the dirt and dust will be.
Your wood pellet stove will be clean and ready to use with these three simple steps! Just remember to do it regularly, as ashes can build up quickly.
